View Full Version : OA++, after an install issues

After an install on a Vista 32bit machine, the following issues were noticed. The AV does not seem to update automatically, the GUI autolock check box is dark and can't seem to be ticked and the license says it expires in 995 days (however it is part of a one year, 5 user family license). The updates can seem to be done manually and no issues scanning have been observed. A complete uninstall and reinstall was completed but the issues mentioned are still present. Has anyone else observed any similar issues?

Hi darthsideous,
The GUI autolock checkbox will remain greyed out until you choose to set a password. It only becomes applicable if you set a password to lock the GUI :)
With regards to your license days remaining gone haywire, this is currently an issue with multi-user licenses when the key is reset to reinstall. The correct expiry date is still displayed in the User Area but OA's GUI reports an incorrect number of days remaining.
How often have you set the AV to update automatically?

Hi catprincess,
This install is actually on dear old mum's computer and apparently the setup did not go as instructed! Therefore, it would seem that the only issue is the license expiration date which has already been reported.
Thanks,
