Has anyone experienced all that pop-ups with the new Windows update (mscorsvw.exe) something to do with .NET framework . I answered allow to about 20 of them, on the next boot I denied it from starting.
I did a little research and some people found that it uses 100% of CPU.

In cases where you aren't given the option to tick 'Install mode' and start receiving a lot of popups when installing something trustworthy like some Microsoft Updates, putting OA into Learning mode is usually the easiest way to go :)

Thanks catprincess for the solution, although I never had to put OA in learning mode for any Windows update, or any other install come to think of it.

Usually Windows Updates will install okay without putting OA into Learning mode, but certain kinds of updates like service packs which make a lot of changes (I believe the .NET update was a service pack) seem to go much better if you use Learning mode.

I've got dozens of those messages about mscorsvw.exe creating different DLLs. However they're not going away when I selected the learning mode. Or rather I click on one to allow and another comes up right away. I've clicked Remember My Decision and Remember my decision for any target several dozens of times.
And those frigging screens won't go away. Time to uninstall the program and find another firewall.

Set mscorsvw.exe as trusted; or set it to be allowed to create executables.

as it turns out I only had to click on the Online Armour continue about another 20 or 30 times and it stopped spawning new screens.
But how would I mark the exe as trusted? That option wasn't on the popups anywhere.
I should've taken a screen shot.

The option to Trust the file should be present on most of the popups, but if you miss it then you can always open the OA GUI, go to Programs, find it in the list, and set it to Trusted there :)
