Believe it or not I have purchased OA since October 2005 and not activate it yet!

All this time I waited for one thing, waited for OA to change it's activation method ! why ?

because I reformat and reinstall my system every few days or maybe less and install the trial version when I need.

It's my hoppy to heavily test software and examine sever security threats, and as many know this leads to many issues and many reformats.

It is not usual to ask you every few days to reset my licence or you may charge me the salary of some tallemu's employee who will wait and respond to my frequent reset requests

I want really to test the full version flavour, but I couldn't find a solution except one of the 3 :

1- you change OA activation method
2- I stop shying and buy or borrow a graet dael of impudence to ask you every few days to reset my licence, and you agree to this without charging me your employee's salary
3- to quit my hoppy and switch to some thing that doesn't need reactivation like watching birds, but if I fall off some mountain or tree you'll be in charge :D

for me I prefere no 1

come on Mike and make your choice.

Mike,
Has the activation method been changed in the newest available product. I wish to purchase soon (like today) but I want to be able to re-insert my reg. key without having to contact you every time. Thanks for any info. you can provide.

Hi Angus,

Not yet. It will be changed in the next product release. The only time you need contact me at the moment is if you install on a different OS, or reinstall windows.

Its definitely on the list, and it is important.

Mike,

Thanks very much for the quick reply. It's really great to see a software company so on the ball with their customers. It's not the norm these days.

No worries Angus, it's a pleasure.

Mike....Been trying to follow the information about the Automatic UPdate problem....this after being greeted by the same balloon these gents have been asking about. But, I'm an old fish out of water here. All I want to do is use my PC without being POPPED every few minutes by the balloon, and to be fairly confident that while I'm working that I'm "protected". Beyond that, I don't know what a "Key" is let alone where to find it. Man, we old guys get worked up easy...sorry. Please reply to my email as I'm not too good at the forum stuf. Thank you.

Thanks Mike. Got your email and replied with the following:

"Thanx for the quick reply! The key...ah, there's the rub. Email? Not a clue where that may have gone. Is there some other way for me to find it? Is it posted somewhere in the program that I can access? (Will this prob affect my office computer also?)
