Hi;

It's still like that even LAN is on. I do not understand why is this so. I believe this has been an issue way before I tried out OA as in the case of all the posts in this forum. I tried using a different firewall to check this problem. I went back to CIS and tried Kerio for the moment then switched back to OA free. With the other firewalls I've mentioned it's 30seconds flat with and without LAN. Same set-up and with a clean install no remnants of the other firewalls left behind. When I switched back to OA it's still the same.

Hi voltron,

You might try disabling the SSDP Discovery Service and see if this helps at all. To do this, go to Start -> Run and type 'services.msc' (without the quotation marks). Scroll down until you get to 'SSDP Discovery Service' and double click on it. Under 'Service status' click the 'Stop' button and then change 'Startup type' to 'Disabled'. Click Apply, Ok and then reboot the computer.

It may not make a difference, but it's worth a try

Hi;

I tried all here but still the problem still exists....

I waited for a comment for about 1month+ already...

Is there any news as to a work-around for this issue?

Regards,

voltron

I know it's really frustrating when something like this happens. Unfortunately other folk don't seem to have the same problem which makes it hard to pin down.

Silly question perhaps but can you talk us through the steps you take when you install OA, such as any option etc you tick before the learning mode reboot. Does the learning mode ever complete?

What version are you running now, voltron? The latest is 4.0.0.10. Perhaps it would be worth doing a clean trust all install of this version if you haven't already. Make sure to reboot twice after uninstalling to ensure the drivers are properly removed.

Hi catprincess;

I'm running 3.5.50 now. Ok I will download vr 4.0 and see what it's gonna be.
I'll get back to you.

Thanks!

Hi stapp;

Yes it finished the learning mode when I installed it. Anyway I'll try the new version and see what happens.

Thanks!
