Default v4 still not supporting 1024 x 600 ?

Hi

Having seen the statement 'Fixed many cosmetic adjustments and inconsistencies in GUI' in the release notes for v4.0.0.10, I've just done a manual upgrade in the hope that this release may have included a fix for the problems with the gui when running a 1024 x 600 screen resolution.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.

I realise that development efforts have been focused on Win 7 of late, but is there any likely timeframe for a fix for this issue ? - there have been a few posts about this in the past.

Other than that, this version seems to be working fine on my xp system.

I am sorry to hear the gui issue is still not fixed. This may be a detail, but attention to details is, in my view, very important and a sign of respect.

I first mentioned 'my' issue last July.

Hi Marko - I will get a timeline for you. Win7 got away from us, so it was all hands on deck to get anything out.

Hi Minoka,

We try to cover as many details as we can - but I had to make a decision - release, or not release. I will try and get a timeline on this, as I promised above - and get back to you both.

Thanks Mike - I understand.

It's not a massive issue, just a bit of a pain having to use the scrollbars all the time to get to the buttons in the gui, and I guess there'll be other users apart from Minoka and me that have the same problem now that netbooks are becoming so prevalent.

It'd just be nice to know that the issue hasn't gone down a black hole and that it's still on your to do list.

Regards
Marko

Hehehe.

Thanks for the update Mike - it's good that you've started quoting case numbers to users as it provides us with reassurance that the issue is logged and I assume it's easier for you guys to keep track of issues.

I look forward to the fix in the fullness of time.

Regards
Marko
