Default OA Blocked message (Solved)

Keep getting a small pop-up message saying Online Armor is blocked.
Appears right above the OA icon in the system tray. With any luck,
there is supposed to be an attached pic of the message.

Below is a part of the exported log file showing the sequence of
events leading up to and including the event.

Hi Ray,

Looking at your log, am I correct in assuming that you've rebooted and the problem continues after the reboot?

There was a few people reporting this with a previous build but I don't know if the cause was ever established. It looked like OA was blocking something in error though.

Do you see any entries listed as blocked in OA's program's list? If not, perhaps try putting OA into Learning mode and rebooting. Wait maybe 30 seconds after Windows had loaded and then take OA out of Learning mode and see if the problem continues.

Only one on 10-23-09 (supertoolbar.ask.com). Subsequently uninstalled all
related ask.com programs.

Put it through learning mode as suggested and no change.

thanks

How about if you right click the OA icon and choose 'Deactivate HIPS features' and then reboot before changing it back to 'Activate HIPS features'?

Would you be willing to give the public beta a try? There are enough structural changes that things like this shouldn't happen anymore, but if they do then the new version also has the capability of getting logs that could show us exactly what's going on

Well, disabled the HIPS feature and no more pop-up messages. Used it
for 2 days just to be sure. Just reactivated HIPS and within a minute of
completed boot, it popped up (clicked to get to this forum). So, there
is something amiss between HIPS and my setup.

As for the BETA, I'll give anything a try !!

Thanks
Ray

Have downloaded the 4.0.0.10 version and the problem still persists.

Guess I'll just ignore the message.

Thanks to all !!
