Untrusting a website in Web Shield doesn't seem to work

If you have a website listed in Online Armor's Web Site list as Trusted, and you Untrust or Block it then you may not see any popups for this website right away.

This happens when the website has been cached, and the browser displays the cached content from your hard drive instead of downloading it from the internet again.

Online Armor filters internet traffic before it ever reaches your browser, and does not filter content that has already been downloaded to your hard drive.

To resolve this simply clear your browser cache (aka delete Temporary Internet Files) and go to the website again. You should then see popups or blocked content (depending on your settings) right away.
